Pre-Commitment Limits & Self-Exclusion

Pre-Commitment Limits

As part of our responsibility towards responsible gambling, you can set a pre-commitment limit on your account. You can set a deposit limit to manage the amount of money that you can deposit on your account. You can set time periods for this limit, being daily (24 hours), through to a 28 day period. Deposit Limits are self-managed via the Responsible Gambling Centre on the Neds website.

Please note: increases and removal of pre-commitment limit changes take 7 days to take effect .i.e. you must wait 7 days after your request is confirmed for the setting to be actioned on your account.

You may decrease your limit at any time and this will be applied to your account immediately.

How to set a pre-commitment limit:  

1. Go to 'My Account' then 'Responsible Gambling':

4. Confirm settings by clicking 'Save Limits'.

Temporary or Permanent Self-Exclusion
If you feel that you need a break from gambling and you would like some help in blocking access to your Neds account, we offer you the option to self-exclude from betting with us. Self-exclusion can be temporary or permanent.

If you are considering self-exclusion with Neds, you should contact all gambling companies with who you have accounts and ask to self-exclude with them too.

If you set a self-exclusion limit this cannot be overridden unless the setting has been in effect for a minimum period of 6 months from the date on which it was originally requested.  

Self-exclusion takes effect 24 hours after your request is submitted to Neds. This 24-hour period is called the “cooling off” period and gives you time to think about your decision and to change your mind if you wish. The exclusion period will come into force when the cooling off period ends unless you tell us otherwise during this period.
